Contents: playing board (fortified city) and 29 wooden playing pieces (buildings), rules of the game.
OBJECTIVE OF THE GAME: to place as many of your buildings as possible within the city walls while preventing your opponent from doing so.
1) The cathedral is placed on the board at the beginning of the game. Players alternate turns placing one building at a time on the board.
2) When a player's buildings enclose a part of the city, which is empty or occupied by only one his opponent's buildings, the enclose are becomes his or her property. The opponent can no longer build in that part of the city. If the enclosed area contains one of the opponent's playing pieces, the piece is returned.
3) The game ends when neither player can place any more buildings on the board; the winner is the player whose unplayed buildings would occupy the fewest squares.
