Parisian painter Marie Laurencin and the famous French poet Guillaume Apollinaire paint an elaborate portrait of heart-breaks, unforgettable past experiences and unrealized dreams. The main character Marie loves her fiancé Woobin dearly, playfully calling him "my Apollinaire." They live an idyllic life together, but their passion is short-lived. Woobin dies in a tragic accident and Marie must return from France to face Woobin's family and rebuild her shattered life. There exists only one problem: Woobin's younger brother Gangbin looks exactly like him. Constantly reminded of her lost love, Marie struggles to dampen the embers of her forbidden desire. The pining of her heart proves irresistible.
